Another
goal of the Hart County Humane Society is to find homes for as many
unwanted animals roaming our streets as possible. Unfortunately, without
an animal shelter or animal control, we do not have the facilities
that can make this happen on a large scale. With a county / city animal
shelter, our strays could be humanely housed until a home could be
found. AND, if a loved pet is lost, there would be a greater chance
that this loved pet would be taken to the shelter if found by a third
party to be reunited with his owner, but only if there was a shelter
nearby.

2006, the Hart County Humane Society has placed over 900 animals in
loving homes, including those pictured here, with the help of our
foster homes and other volunteers.
